#222 Permacure Reinforced Repair
Permacure is a nylon reinforced rubber insert wrapped with Tech’s gray chemical cushion gum. The 222 is designed to repair injuries in bias and radial passenger and light truck tires. Each plug insert is 3.75″ (95MM) in length. Tire Industry recommendations state that the tire should be demounted and repaired from the inside, using suitable rubber vulcanizing material and appropriate repair unit on the inner liner. The 291UL cap has cross weave technology which allows the repair to flex, resist heat and reinforce the inner liner of the tire. The 291UL comes with a lead wire attached thus ensuring a simple and fast insertion of these repair units into the tire injury. TECH’s gray cushion gum is applied to both the stem and the cap of the 291UL, thus assuring superior vulcanization and a permanent repair.

#601 3″ Multi-Purpose Repair Patch
TECH recommends our #601 Multi-Purpose (MP) repairs for bias nail hole repairs. MP repairs are produced with unique cross-weave reinforcement and thick chemical cushion gum that provides excellent performance in both radial and bias tires. MP repairs must be used to repair crown area punctures in conjunction with the appropriate Uni-Seal Ultra Stem as a 2-piece repair. The #601 has 20 repair patches per box.
